An important recognition for Andrea Canton, chef of La Primula Restaurant in San Quirino, who has received the Pordenone ArtandFood “Una vita, una carriera” award, presented by Michelangelo Agrusti, Vice President of the Pordenone-Udine Chamber of Commerce.

The award celebrates a professional journey shaped over the years by dedication, consistency and a profound connection with the local area. It is a story closely intertwined with that of La Primula, a landmark of Friulian fine dining and a Michelin-starred restaurant since 1983, with the distinction confirmed year after year.

At the heart of this journey is a cuisine that expresses the character of its land through sensitivity, technique and respect for its roots, while attracting guests from both Italy and abroad.

The “Una vita, una carriera” award is therefore not only a tribute to Andrea Canton’s work, but also to a philosophy of hospitality pursued with passion and continuity: preserving an identity, interpreting it through cuisine and sharing it every day with our guests.

It is a recognition that fills us with pride and marks another important chapter in La Primula’s long-standing journey, still driven today by the same desire to welcome, inspire and tell the story of our territory through the dining experience.
